Dustin and Katie have both been involved in mission work since they were young, beginning with their first trips to Mexico as students. They both grew up in ministry-minded homes and attended the Urbana Mission Conference. Full time ministry is what they feel called to do and for some time, they have been doing just that.
Since 1999, Dustin has utilized his influence as a World Champion unicyclist to share Christ by performing and speaking at youth events, mission festivals, evangelistic outreaches, retreats, camps, music festivals and school assemblies around the world. Katie sang and danced with The Continentals and other drama ministries in 8 countries before joining Dustin. They married in 2002 and dedicated their lives to serve as a team.
In 2013 Dustin and Katie became the first pair of unicyclists to ride across the United States (Katie is only the 2nd female to accomplish this feat). They rode 3,511 miles/5,650km in 97 days on the RefugeRide to raise support for Syrian refugees.
Since the early 2000's, they performed an inspiring, extreme-stunt unicycle show called, “UniShow: one life, one message, one wheel” around the world as God opened many doors to share the light of the Gospel in unreached countries. Still under Operation Mobilization and continuing to make an impact for eternity, they now also perform Red Letters which is a dramatic presentation of the words of Revelation. Life is short; as C.T. Studd said, “Only one life, 'twill soon be past, only what's done for Christ will last.”
Their mission is to know Christ and follow His example, boldly proclaiming the fire of His truth around the world; giving glory to God through the life, talent, ability and resources He has entrusted to them, for the sake of eternity. Their goal is to present quality performances that captivate people of all ages, using God given talents and abilities such as acting, unicycling, dancing and speaking as tools to share the power of life in Jesus Christ.
Psalm 34:3 “Glorify the Lord with me; let us exalt His name together.”
